Drag the Story

DRAG is a musician (or a one-man-band) who is deeply passionate about creating unique and innovative music in alternative rock and progressive rock genres. He is a true multi-instrumentalist, playing electric and bass guitar, keyboards, and drums, and he handles all aspects of music production, from recording and arranging to mixing and mastering.

Drag's love of music started at an early age. He was exposed to a wide range of musical genres and instruments while growing up. He began playing guitar at the age of 18 and but didn't developed quickly for it. After he losts his best friends who was a talented guitarist he decided to restart his efforts to play guitar and make music. He spent hours practicing and studying the works of his favorite guitarists, and he began to incorporate their techniques and styles into his own playing.

As he grew older, Drag's musical interests expanded beyond the guitar. He taught himself to play keyboards, bass guitar, and drums, and he began to experiment with recording and arranging his own tracks. He was fascinated by the process of music production, and he spent countless hours learning about the various tools and techniques used in the studio.

Despite his obvious talent, Drag was initially hesitant to share his music with others. He was a shy and introverted person, and he struggled with the idea of performing in front of an audience. However, as he continued to create and refine his music, he began to gain confidence in his abilities.

In 2009, Drag released his first album "What About You", a collection of instrumental tracks that showcased his skills as a guitarist and composer. The album titles refers a call to his childhood friends which whom he once played together and refused to restart a collaboration with him because they feel themselves too old to rock'n roll.

The album received positive reviews from critics, and it quickly gained a small but dedicated following on platforms like Spotify and Soundcloud. Over the next few years, Drag continued to refine his sound and experiment with different genres and styles. Meanwhile he also had to change his name to "Drag the Band", because he discovered another band with the name "Drag". He began to incorporate elements of jazz, classical music, and electronic music into his tracks, creating a sound that was uniquely his own. He also began to invest heavily in his home studio, purchasing high-quality equipment and software to ensure that his recordings were of the highest possible quality.

Despite his growing success, Drag remained committed to his craft and continued to push himself to improve as a musician. He spent countless hours in the studio, perfecting his tracks and experimenting with new sounds and instruments. He also began to collaborate with other musicians, mainly online, which allowed him to expand his musical horizons and learn from others.

In 2022, Drag began to work with some talented vocalists, marking a new chapter in his music career. With their help, he began to compose songs with lyrics, which allowed him to explore new emotional depths in his music. The first resulting album "Köprünün Geceleri" is a testament to Drag the Band's versatility and creativity as a musician, and it promises to attract a wider audience to his music.

Despite his lack of exposure in the music industry, Drag (the Band) is a musician who is deeply committed to his craft. He is a true artist, pouring his heart and soul into every track he creates, and he is always seeking to improve and evolve as a musician. With his unique approach to music-making and his dedication to producing high-quality recordings, Drag the Band is a musician to watch in the coming years.
